UPDATE: Or check out Jim Stolze’s presentation at TED University.
Jim Stolze is the author and researcher of the Virtual Happiness Project; a psychological approach to Internet Usage.
The project tries to answer these questions:
- Could you live without the Internet?
- What is the difference between online and offline friendships?
- How can you manage the digital information overload?
- Why do we do what we do, online?
Jim is an international speaker on these subjects and is currently writing on his second book.
For the love of science he did an experiment where he went completely offline for the whole month of December. You can read about his experience here.
